Unique and individual hand painted canvas shoulder bag.
The process starts with giving the cover flap 2 to 4 coats of white gesso. I then use acrylic paints to produce a design/image. Then the cover flap is given a couple of coats of satin varnish.
This example shows a the Squadron markings of No1 Squadron Royal Air Force, as used pre WW2 and then post WW2 (Cold war). Painted on a RAF Blue canvas haversack.
