Hand painted messenger/back pack bag - Flying Tigers (SOLD)

This is an ex-army (Yugoslavia) surplus bag that has been given a new lease of life (after being machined washed!). I have hand painted the famous AVG WW2 US Flying Tigers emblem on.

The bag can be used as either a back pack, or alternatively as a messenger style bag. The carry straps can easily be removed and reconfigured to work either way.

I have also given the leather parts of the bag a good rub down with some leather balsam, as they were quite dry.

In side the bag, there is a tube like compartment, which would be ideal for carrying a water bottle in, it would keep it upright. There is also a small pocket on the inside of the bag. The bag also has a large external pocket, which has its own flap which is secured by two stud type fasteners. This pock is then covered by the main glad, with the painting on it.

As this is an ex-army surplus bag, dating from the 70's or 80's, it show some signs of wear, patchy colour, marks and stains. However, as you can see from the photos, it is in quite good condition and will probably last much longer than modern 'fashion' bags.

Bag size is approx. 29x28x10cm
