Not putting all my eggs in one basket - Update

Not putting all my eggs in one basket - Update

Sorry it has been a while since my last post. I got quite busy with my day job plus with some illustration work towards the end of August. Then my part time furlough ended and I'm back in the office on almost full time hours for my day job.

Anyway, that's enough about my day job, here is what has been happening with my passive income streams.

During the summer, my Amazon Merch account started to pick up really well. I even managed to get to tier 500 hundred right at the end of Summer. But this month (October 2021), sales have suddenly dropped off. Not sure why this is, but it may be a coincidence that Merch no offer 'ads'. Are they giving those that pay for the ads more coverage than those that don't?

In contrast my Etsy shop has been ticking over quite nicely, and the start of quarter 4 has so far been very pleasing.

Redbubble is also picking up with sales. My input of new designs has slowed down due to being back in the office more. But I do try to get a few new designs up on the weekends.

TeePublic has also been quite a good little earner for me over the Summer going into Autumn, long may it continue.

Even Zazzle has had a little frenzy of sales in the last few weeks.

As mentioned above. I was commissioned to do some illustration work of some aircraft profiles. Was quite a rush job to get 12 done in 2 weeks. Completed it by the skin of my teeth. That was late August. Link to my illustration website is https://www.stuartfowleillustration.co.uk

Mid September, I got to do my very first photography gig. I was asked to cover an opening event for a new beauty salon. My first time doing anything like that, but was really good fun.

If you are interested, I have a small photography portfolio that you can view https://stuartfowlephotography.myportfolio.com/work

Actually while you are here, I might as well mention that I'm now selling "Dad hats" over on my Etsy store.

Small selection at the moment (October 2021), but hope to expand in time. You can see what is on offer for Dad hats here.
